Forty years ago, the Community Tenancy Scheme was established as an “innovative” and hyper-local way of delivering housing to low-income families and pensioners on the public housing waitlist.

The CTS comprised 58 small community groups, managing 2,400 households. Over four decades of service to the community, eight of those founding organisations have become Link Wentworth.
